Statement:
Walyu Yarta {root} ground is the Kaurna name for the Veale Gardens site.Built in 1963 by Bill Veale who was inspired with a new vision for transforming Adelaide Park Lands into a series of landscape gardens after an overseas study tour.
The Veale Gardens exhibits the serpentine style canal through the centre, another connection to the dreaming in indigenous society.
