Statement:

"Sisters seasons apart", was inspired by the Himeji Gardens in the southern Adelaide Park Lands. Gifted by Adelaide’s sister city Himeji in Japan, it conjures fond memories of days spent strolling through tranquil gardens under the garden’s gingko tree glowing with gold hued leaves in Autumn sunshine. A symbol of longevity and endurance, it’s wonderful to think that as I walk beneath the gingko tree in autumnal Adelaide, across the world beneath another sky in the ancient city of Himeji the Gingko trees bathe passers-by in luminous lime green dappled light shining through new Spring leaves.
