"The city of Adelaide has forty parks, gardens and squares. All but two have three identifiers: a number, an English name and an Aboriginal place name. Because a single photo can not adequately represent the diversity of Adelaide's parks, I sought to create an inspirational artwork representative of them all.To achieve this, a photo location was chosen in each park that epitomised the park’s character. All forty images were then anonymised by extracting a blurred 500-pixel x 6000-pixel strip. Finally, the strips were ordered sequentially from left to right - Park 1 to Park 40 - to create the final image, which is presented floating in a white field."
