Statement:
The historic Popeye pleasure cruiser has been a feature on the Torrens since 1935. The birds and animals who have made the Park Lands their home, currently or in the past hitch a ride, two by two on this contemporary ark. Transported by an Adelaide icon to safer ground, perhaps. Slab constructed raku clay with porcelain animals, hand painted in under glaze and finished with clear glaze.
